Online ticketing at www.blockbuster.com.my and Mobile App refund policy.


Tickets purchased are only for the particular cinema location, film, show time and show dates specified.

All transactions once completed and confirmed (e.g payment go through, confirmation or QR Code Ticket received) are not exchangeable or refundable under any circumstances. Refunds will not be provided to guest that has successfully purchased movie tickets/concessions (payment go through, confirmation or QR Code Ticket received) via website www.blockbuster.com.my , mobile app, concessions counters, or any other 3rd party ticketing platforms based on any different disputes stated below:

a) Has viewed the entirety of any movie purchased at any Blockbuster Cinep1lexes Cinemas.

b) Has not viewed the entirety of the movie purchased at any Blockbuster Cineplexes Cinemas.

c) Did not visit the cinema to collect the movie tickets and has not viewed the en1tirety of any movie purchased at any Blockbuster Cineplexes Cinemas.

d) Visited the cinema to collect the movie tickets and has or has not viewed the entirety of any movie purchased at any Blockbuster Cineplexes Cinemas.

If there’s any disputes example stated below when purchasing in www.blockbuster.com.my or Blockbuster Cineplexes Mobile App, please kindly contact our customer care via phone or email.

1) Payment went through when purchasing in website / mobile app but didn’t get confirmation or QR Code ticket.

2) Payment went through but tickets were auto-cancelled by system.

Customers can apply for refunds under below circumstances:

1) Encounter any technical issue caused by the cinema’s facilities and services (such as air- conditioning, seats, hall, lighting and electrical and/or plumbing).

2) Issue pertaining to projection equipment (e.g. session breakdown, sound system and/or subpar visual quality).

Kindly provide your name, email address, mobile number, transaction date, transaction ID, transaction amount and cinema location when contacting customer care via any means available.

All your personal information will not be shared with any third parties. Any information collected through www.blockbuster.com.my or Blockbuster Cineplexes Mobile App are intended to be used for this transaction only. Kindly view our privacy policy also.

The refund amount will transfer to customer account within 24 hours after they request to account@blockbuster.com.my

Make sure provide:

1) Reason to request refund

2) Ticket details

3) Buyer details including name and phone number

4) Account number to proceed refund
