Due to the success of the Hindi film "Raanjhanaa" in India, it now has its own Tamil version by the name of "Ambikapathy". "Ambikapathy" is a love story that doesn`t fall within the confines of a cliched romance. The movie first served as Dhanush`s Bollywood debut in "Raanjhanaa" and stars Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor as the leads. The music and background score of this film is composed by Oscar nominee A. R. Rahman.
